An innovative presentation – a ‘One Man Pecha Kucha’ – featuring an international expert on creativity is being held on the evening of Tuesday November 9th at Nancy’s Bordello, Newcastle.
Organized by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations North East Group the event features creative thinking author Andy Green doing a series of seven mini talks in the format of ‘Pecha Kucha’ – which is Japanes for ‘chit chat and consists of 20 Powerpoint slides each on display for 20 seconds.
The performance was premiered this summer at the world’s first Edinburgh International Marketing Festival.
Traditional Pecha Kucha normally features seven different speakers but Andy will be condensing the knowledge from his five books, 30 years experience, 20 award wins, and an ear an eye for the funny, unusual and inspirational in the one man presentation.
Topics covered in his seven minute presentations include, ‘All there is to know about creativity’, ‘Overcoming stupidity in the world around you’, ‘How to turn your football team getting relegated into a promotion opportunity’, ‘’Beautiful Barry Island’ ‘How to love the new tramway system in Edinburgh and other memes’ and ‘Bobby Moore – my hero’.
Andy Green is an author and expert on creativity and brand communications and lectures around the world. His work has been translated into eight languages.
